Moore Than Cupcakes is a family run bakery wih kitchens in Bridport and Beaminster.

Founder Claire Louise has had a passion for baking from an early age. When most of her friends after school were out playing, Claire could often be found stood on a stool in the kitchen next to Mum, licking the wooden spoon and doing her best to help out in any way she could. That passion for baking has never gone away.

In 2007 following relocation to West Dorset, Claire decided to put this hobby to the test and open up a stall on the famous Bridport Market. With a growing fanbase and glowing reviews and with some customers travelling as far as 30 miles on a weekly basis for some of Claire’s scrummy goodies, she knew she that this hobby could turn into ‘Moore Than’ just a passion.

The business has since gone from strength to strength and I has now become We. With the demand for cakes and catering increasing, Claire’s fiance Ross joined the company. The duo are now working together distributing their cakes all over Dorset, Devon and the South West, as well as landing some prestigious contracts in London.

Unfortunately due to the retail side of the business they are sadly no longer able to commit to Bridport Market. However, fear not as you can find Moore Than Cupcakes at lots of annual events including The Melplash Show, Bridport Food Festival and others..
